Born and raised in the melting pot known as Ann Arbor Michigan, Lo Key comes from a very diverse background both musically and culturally. Playing music from the age of 9, he has spent time on various musical instruments such as violin, stand up and electric bass, guitar, and percussion, as well as musical genres such as Classical, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Hip-Hop, and almost everything
in between. This extensive musical background has helped inspire a lyrical style
and approach that is incomparable. Lo Key combines a rhythmically diverse and creative style with a voice capable of delivering everything from aggressive and abrasive rapping, to smooth and melodic singing. While touching on a spectrum of
