This album started of with a bunch of songs Dylan had written to gig live but the band agreed that they should record to get these songs out there for the world to hear. These songs were written in band rehearsal and at home by Dylan. All the songs on the album refer to personal experiences and dreams that he feels throughout his journey of being a teenager. These songs were arranged at band rehearsal with drummer Troy Lowe and bass player Nathan Murray to suit their live sound.

Once the boys were happy with these songs they spoke to Connor MacDonald from Nuclear Sound Studio and decided to record these songs in Dylan's home studio then moving to Nuclear Sound Studio to finish it off. Connor turned the raw recordings into a thick and great sounding mix that gives the recording a nice atmosphere.
