Rubi Dan is one of the most versatile MCs in the UK. Rubi's main loves are dancehall and hip hop but he can ride any riddim whether garage, jungle, grime, bassline, reggae, funky house or even salsa. Born and raised in south London, Rubi first chatted on the mic with Young Lover and Ashanti Diamonds as a youth, before getting heavily involved in London's garage and drum'n'bass scenes in the 90s. His first vinyl release, a version of Sisqo's Thong Song called Silicone Breast, dropped in 2000 and was heavily supported by Choice FM.
