Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal (/ʃəˈkiːl/ shə-KEEL; born March 6, 1972), nicknamed "Shaq" (/ʃæk/ SHAK), is an American retired professional basketball player who is a sports analyst on the television program Inside the NBA on TNT.
